However, United are pessimistic about their chances of convincing Spurs to part with Kane. The club will not allow themselves to get dragged into a saga over their interest in Kane and it’s already apparent that Daniel Levy would not sell to a Premier League rival.

The Frankfurt striker bagged 23 goals in 45 matches last season and impressed at the World Cup with France.
